Vanessa

This play is a triffic example of dramatic irony because the auidence knows that erica is preagnet with vanessas husbands baby and vanessa cannot for the life of her figure out why erica wants to kill herself. it intensifys the seen becausee it causes the auidence to wonder if or when vanessa will find out about the aboration living inside erica.
i believe that the original reason vanessa had the mirrors draped because she is depressed by love the text says that she has "arrested time" i feel like this means that she has become so cought up in the tims she spent with her past lover that she cannot stand to see herself age.

"must the winter come so soon" i believe that the author of this play chose a "hungrey deer" to intensify the idea that erica is hungry due the unborn child she so desperatly hides from the world. i also feel that "frozen owl" is a metaphore for erica herself she is frozen with feer and knows not what to do in her dire situation. when erica says "neither daun nor sunset" she is refering to the time stop that hapens when something happes to a person that is indede horrible in there view. time seems to stop when someone hits depression and the cold that invlopes a person slows time and a minor muniet becomes ten years. poor erika has fallen into a depression due to her unrequeted love for Anatol and the child she hides and doesnt want. and the depression has made her world wintercold.

  1. You have good information here, well though out. BUT you need to edit your work. You have misspelled words and have not capitalized personal pronoun "I" and such. Let's proofread before you publish.
